Non-intrusive Pig Signaler is used for checking the passage of cleaning pigs in oil, gas, and water pipelines. It is flexible and convenient in installation and disassembly and can meet the requirements of all kinds of pipelines on indicators. Only the indicators are fixated on the outer wall of the pipeline to work. Which solves the problems of mechanical lighting, mechanical failure, and non-explosion-proof. These problems can influence the accuracy of the judgment of cleaning pigs. Besides, the problem of electronic interference can result in false alarms and missing alarms.

The core sensing mechanism of the magnetic explosion-proof demonstrator is composed of a reverse reluctance circuit, balance amplifier circuit. And low pass filter circuit, trigger circuit, CPU, a remote switching circuit, display circuit, and reset circuit.

Advantages:

Unlike pig signalers connected with a flange or weld, non-intrusive pig signalers can be set anywhere in the pipe. Non-invasive pig types are generally easier to install and maintain. It has a higher flexibility. There is no need for the connecting flange in the pipe or material requirements of the pig signaler, a non-intrusive Pig Signaler is easier to install on the pipe. An intrusive Pig Signaler is an instrument inserted into a pipe. While a non-intrusive pig signaler is an instrument used outside the pipe. In most cases, intrusive pigs are mechanically attached to the pipes. However, this requires a flange connection or an opening on the pipe. Sometimes, when the condition of a flange connection is not met, or the opening is inaccessible, a non-intrusive pig signaler is used.

If maintenance is required, it can be removed effortlessly, eliminating the need to suspend production and avoiding significant costs as a result.

Function description:

This instrument provides three buttons: Select button, Adjust button, and Confirm button, These three buttons can operate four functions: detection function, query function, zero clearing function, and time setting function.

Pig signalers are used in the oil and gas industry. Their main function is to detect the position of the pig. When the pig passes through the position where the pig signaler is, different pig signalers, will react in different ways. For example, a manual flag reset pig signaler reflects the passage of a pig by changing the direction of the flag. The pig signaler combined with an electronic signal expresses the passage of the pig transmitting an electronic signal. Date and time display pig signal express the passage of the cleaning pig on its screen. Non-intrusive pig signaler will show the passing times on its screen.

Detection function:

• Objective To ensure that the battery power supply is normal and the threshold is consistent with the local conditions. The factory has set up and tested the Pig Signaler before it leaves the factory. There are differences in the use environment, so in order to ensure the accuracy of monitoring, the instrument provides the detection function. The use method is as follows: press the Select button, then the detection function light will be on (if you press the Select button continuously, the four function lights will be on in turn, then press the Select button again, the light will be off, then the instrument will enter the pigging monitoring state). At this time, press the Confirm button, then the instrument will automatically enter the detection state. The digital tube will display the instrument threshold and setting value. Press the Confirm button to exit the detection function, and press the Select button again to turn off the function light and the instrument will enter the pigging monitoring state. If the function light is on and it is not turned off by the select button, the system will automatically turn off the function light and enter the pig monitoring state without any key operation for more than 3 seconds.

Query function:

• Press the Select button continuously, then select the query function, and press the Confirm button, and the digital tube will display the stored passing times of the instrument. Pressing the Confirm button will query the passing time of the pig (if there is no record of the instrument, the digital tube will not display). Press the Adjust button to select the down button to query the passing time, and press the Adjust button continuously to exit the query function. If the number of display times is zero, you can exit the query function. At this time, you can select other functions by pressing the button or exiting to enter the monitoring state. You can also automatically enter the monitoring state after 3 seconds.

Clear function:

• The pig signaler automatically records times that can reach 99 times. If the passing time is more than 99 times, the instrument will automatically clear zero. In order to ensure reliable records and efficient queries, manual zeroing is very necessary. Press the Select button, select the Clear function, and press the Confirm button. The digital tube will automatically exit after 00, and all internal records have been cleared.

Timing function:

• If you know or want to see whether the time is accurate, press the Select button, select the adjustment function, then press the Confirm button, and enter the adjustment, at this time, the hour number is shining, you can adjust the hour by adjusting the button (only increase, increase to 24 back to zero). If the hour display is correct, you can also press the Confirm button to jump to the minute adjustment, at this time the minute number is shining, press the Adjust button to adjust the minutes (only increase, Increase to 60 back to zero), press the Confirm button to exit the adjustment, and the instrument will automatically store the set time.

No matter in what function, after 3 seconds, the instrument will automatically exit all functions and enter the pig monitoring state without pressing the button.
